Biography

Ziyodullo was born and grew up in Uzbekistan. Most of his academic career is linked with University of World Economy and Diplomacy in Tashkent, where he got his first Master’s in ‘International Law”. He has a strong interest in talent development, international public and private law, communication, networking, learning foreign languages, and the cultures of different nations. Ziyodullo’s interest in international trade started as far back as his time as an undergraduate student when he was studying for a bachelor’s degree in International Law.
In 2022-2023, he participated in a two-semester training course on WTO. In these courses, Ziyodullo studied the general concepts of the World Trade Organization, the organization's special agreements, various conflict situations that have arisen between the member states, and the benefits of membership in this organization. In addition, Ziyodullo participated in the 6-month WTO Chairs Program organized in July-December 2022. During this program, professors from different fields came from the World Trade Institute and special trainings were organized. During this period, Ziyodullo studied with a number of fellow students about the prospects of Uzbekistan joining the WTO and the work to be done in order to become a member through these special courses.
Currently, Ziyodullo works in the World Trade Organization department of the Competition Promotion and Consumer Protection Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan. He is contributing to the work of adapting the legislation of Uzbekistan to the WTO rules.
