Biography

Asilbek was born in Uzbekistan in 2000 and has been living in this country until now. The main part of his academic career is related to the University of World Economy and Diplomacy as he completed his bachelor's degree at this university. Asilbek has strong interest in international public and private law, as well as reading books and articles, learning foreign languages.
In the 2022-2023 academic year, Asilbek chose WTO law and practice as an elective subject, and for two semesters, he studied in depth the general concepts of the World Trade Organization, the organization's agreements, various conflict situations that have arisen between the member states, and the benefits of membership in this organization. Due to his strong interest in WTO law, Asilbek was accepted as a researcher to the WTO Chairs program at UWED in July 2022, intending to study this organization more thoroughly. This program, which lasted for 6 months, helped Asilbek to gain a lot of experience. He actively participated in the following short-term trainings, such as The agreements TBT and SPS, Trade in agricultural products under the WTO, Trade negotiations and negotiating techniques which are conducted by Dr. Christian Haberli, Dr. Maarten Smeets, Arthur Appleton J.D., PHD, and Umida Haqnazar, professors with extensive experience in the WTO.
